Ingredients Broccoli Soup
2 Tbsp. chopped onion
2 Tbsp. melted butter
3 Tbsp. flour
tsp. Morton’s seasoned salt
2 c. milk
1 c. grated American or Velveeta cheese
2 chicken bouillon cubes
1 1/2 c. boiling water
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen chopped broccoli
Saute onion in butter until clear. Blend in flour and salt. Add milk; cook and stir constantly until thick. Add cheese; stir until melted. Dissolve bouillon in boiling water. Add broccoli in that pan; cook until tender. Drain water off. Add broccoli to cheese and milk mixture. Heat to serving temperature. Serves: 3 to 4.
