Ingredients OATMEAL DROP COOKIES
1/2 C. Crisco
2 tsp. cinnamon
c. granulated sugar
tsp. ground cloves
1/2 c. brown sugar
tsp. allspice
1 egg
1 tsp. baking powder
1
1/2 c. flour, sifted
1/2 tsp. baking soda, dissolved in 1 tsp. water
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. regular oatmeal
c. milk
1/2 c. each: raisins, currants, chopped nuts, chopped dates and Angel Flake coconut
1 tsp. McNess wonder flavor
1 tsp. vanilla
Cream thoroughly Crisco, sugar, egg, vanilla and flavoring. Sift together dry ingredients, except oatmeal. Add alternately with milk to the first mixture. Add soda and water, then oatmeal, nuts, raisins, currants, coconut and chopped dates. Mix well by hand. Drop by spoonfuls on greased baking sheet. Bake at 375 from 8 to 10 minutes. Remove from pan while hot.
