Ingredients Christmas Holly Cookies
30 large marshmallows
2 tsp. green food coloring
4 c. cornflakes
lb. butter
1/2 tsp. vanilla
red cinnamon candies
Melt marshmallows and butter over boiling water. Add green food coloring and vanilla. Add cornflakes to mixture and continue folding until all cornflakes are coated (approximately 15 minutes). Keep the mixture over hot or boiling water at all times as it is easier to work with. Form as holly on wax paper (small teaspoonfuls) and put on the candies as holly berries. Be sure to fix red berries on securely. (It is ideal to have a helper at this time.) Let holly dry for 24 hours; turn once so bottom can dry.
